The first week of 2015 has just gone by. I'd say it's been a pretty relaxed week, with not much homework or anything much to do in school, apart from my CCA. I'd like to say that it's going pretty well! I've handed up all my homework so far, and I've made it a point to sleep by 11 p.m., if not at least before 12, and it's been working great. I'm fresh in the day, and I don't feel sleepy in class like the past years.
I've also made it a point to be on time for everything, which is mainly just in the morning, when I take the school bus. I no longer have to rush around and ultimately panic and forget to bring my stuff. Also, I pack my bag the night before. It feels pretty darn good, just doing things in the morning at leisure.
The next thing I have to do is to go exercise! I'm taking my NAPFA this year, so it's a little bit of a problem because I'm overweight. I've never had much problem passing the tests, but it's unhealthy and being overweight means my muscles have to work overtime. I've also always had a problem getting even a C for my inclined pull ups, so I'm working on that as well.
Also, Ghost is going really well! I'm very proud of that. Midnight Wolf kind of got pushed off a cliff and died, so there isn't much of a chance for me to continue, although it's still there. I have a feeling Ghost is going to be the first ever story I complete, and that just makes me really happy. I'm a little worried if the chapters are a little too long, though... (Although long chapters are nice to read, they also take up more time, and it's not exactly the nicest feeling.)
Also, I'm going to be updating Ghost every Sunday now! Saturdays are just really packed and hard for me to post. My blog posts still won't have a fixed date, and it's staying that way, since not many interesting things can happen in a week. This post was mainly just to say that I'm really happy hahaha
The year is definitely going to get tougher as time passes, and these Halcyon days won't last forever, of course. I'm hoping that things will still go smoothly and that I can cope with the pressures the year will present. Alright! It's just a short post this time. Live well, Love much, Laugh often!

1080p
Hello again! It's the second post in the week, aye?
To start off, Happy New Year! It's currently 3.17 p.m. here in Singapore, and I'm not sure if it's 2015 wherever you readers are, but still, Happy New Year!
So the title is kind of confusing. 1080p. Like, the heck is that? It's wayyyy geeky and shit, but if you realise, you'll find "1080p" in some of your screen resolutions. It's one of the clearest resolutions around as well, so I'm sure you know where this is going. Hahahaha
So it's a new year, a new start and all that. I personally call bullshit. That's like saying you're born again every time a new year comes about. No. It doesn't work that way. (Holds up umbrella as the "don't be so fucking negative" opinions rain down) As I was saying, it doesn't work that way. Yes, it's a new year, but no it's not really a new start. It's more of a new chance to right whatever wrongs you think you've done the past year. Well, perhaps you should have done that yesterday.
But certain things can't be righted in a single day. We all know that. Nothing happens overnight. If you can list one thing that happens overnight and convince me of why, kudos to you. (By the way, if you really find one, please tell me. I'm curious.) So that's why we take the new year, and use it to right most of the wrongs. At least that's what I believe.
Okay, on to the more boring stuff now. So new year, obviously we're going to have New Year's Resolutions. (Why else do you think the title is 1080p???)
So here are mine:
1) Hand up ALL homework on time.
This one is going to be so hard. I can't even begin to say, I might just break it in one go. But I hope not. It's a pretty simple one as well.
2) Focus more on my studies and get my grades up.
It's been clear in my past posts that I'm clearly not the best student, or the one with all the As. In fact, I'm the one who barely makes the cut. You know, like when you make cookies and you're using your cookie cutter to cut out those shapes and there's always the one right at the end where you're really pushing it to get the shape out and it just barely makes it? Yeah, that one. So I'm gonna change that. It's not going to be easy, but hey, nothing ever is.
3) Slim the fuck down!
Okay, so that has been one of my goals for a while now. But I haven't reached shit at all. Still fat and shit here, so it's going to take a while more. Perhaps because I haven't been doing much? I've been running a bit here and there, but not like consecutive days and stuff, so I can't really expect much out of it. Oops. But I'm going to slim down this year. Watch me.
4) Be more organised.
My stuff is literally everywhere, all the time. I'm the kind of person that takes something out, then doesn't put it back where I found it because there's somewhere a lot more convenient for me to leave my shit even though it messes up the place. My table is in a complete mess and there's only this one space for my computer. There isn't even any working space! I'm literally piling stuff under my table, along my bed (I don't have an under my bed, it's kind of like your normal bed frame and stuff, just that the bottom's filled it?) and I'm starting to put stuff on the bed as well. Yep, it's bad. At least it's not much? (Yeah, I gotta clean out my shit.)
Okay, these are basically the things I want to achieve this year. There are lots of things that will be going on this year, so I'm hoping they go okay. There's going to be the competition, then March camp. And understudies as well, as we seniors hand over our position to the juniors. I really can't wait to step down. I've had like, enough. I'll also be taking my Grade 8 piano exam, so if I can quickly get over that, I'd have more time. Then there's the HMT 'O'-Level paper to worry about. I'm setting my goal to a B3. If my mid-year scores and my EOY scores aren't too bad, I'll raise that goal. If I do, I'll be sure to blog about it!
These will be the major things that will be happening this year, and maybe I'll finish Ghost this year as well. It's going pretty smoothly as of now, I've had no writer's blocks so far. Alright! I'll end off here now! Live well, Love much, Laugh often!
